event class to monitor the state of SQL Server Database Engine
transactions coordinated through Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC). This
includes transactions involving two or more databases in the same instance of the Database
Engine, or distributed transactions involving two or more instances of the Database Engine.
Description
Name of the client application that created the
connection to an instance of SQL Server. This
column is populated with the values passed by
the application rather than the displayed name
of the program.

within DTC.

This data column is populated if the client
